Job Summary: Responsible for running the set speed 1man, 2man, or 3man depending on how many people are on the line. Line operator must be able to run upsetter part 1st and 2nd pass and run press (forge, trim, and coin) part then look for defects and gently place the part into the hot box.

  • Ability to start up and shut down the line properly.

Job Summary: Performs electrical troubleshooting, installing upgrades, diagnosis, repair and preventive maintenance on various types of CNC Lathes, Stamping Presses, Forging Presses and Heat Treat equipment plant wide.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Performs emergency/unscheduled repairs on all industrial equipment with little to no supervision.
  • Reads and interprets equipment prints/schematics/manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance repairs and service.
  • Performs all scheduled preventive maintenance on all assigned equipment.
  • Interpret and troubleshoot electrical systems when schematics are not available.
  • Performs tasks that include but not limited to the usage of multimeters, megohmmeters, calipers, taps and dies and all associated hand tools of the trade.
  • Project layout skills.
  • Conduit bending and threading (both power and hand bending)
  • PLC troubleshooting skills (Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.)
  • VFD troubleshooting and replacement.
  • Utilization of your Mechanical abilities to include a good understanding of hydraulic, pneumatics, power transmission systems clutches, brakes, gears, sprockets and bearings.

Operates Robots, Center Bench, Heat Treat and Hobb or Rack Roller. Stacks finished parts in shipping containers. Makes adjustments and performs tool changes. Inspects parts to ensure dimensional accuracy.

  • Reads work orders and blue print specifications to determine what program needs to be run.

Job Summary: Must know all QA aspects in the CNC Department, including Center Bench, Splining, Lathe Turning, Heat Treat, In-process and Final Audit. Ability to validate conformance to all Brunner and Customer Specifications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Read blueprints and Engineering Specifications to obtain product information, such as specified material, surface finish and dimensional requirements.
  • Examine material or product for surface defects such as cracks, pits, and other deformation, and aesthetics.
  • Rejects parts by processing DMR paperwork, noting location of defect on parts.
  • Measure all applicable blueprint requirements, using variety of instruments, such as, but not limited to snap gauges, mics, calipers, pin gauges, profilometer and height gauges.
  • Validate operator compliance by FPQ, in-process and final audit.
  • Provide manufacturing with accurate data to kick off the problem-solving process.
  • Participate in Gauge Studies.
  • Retrieve records to review customer rejects and traceability.
  • Communicate at all levels in the Department such as Department Manager, Supervisors and Operators.

  • Any additional requests made from the QA Supervisor, Manager or Manufacturing Supervisors.

CERTIFICATES AND TRAINING REQUIRED:

  • Quality Stamp (QF-62a), CNC QA Work Instructions (WI-357a), Gauge Maintenance, basic knowledge of MS Excel, Gauge Studies and PPAP.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED, (1) year minimum in QA Inspector.
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.

Job Summary: Works with Manufacturing Engineers to improve manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. This position affords the opportunity to gain experience in a wide range of manufacturing processes, from the planning stages through implementation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Prepares and maintains process documents
  • Prepares and maintains detailed layouts of buildings and equipment
  • Creates CAD drawings of fixtures and tooling, using the company print/file standards.
  • Works with the engineering, production, quality, tool room and maintenance to facilitate improvements to the manufacturing process.

  • An Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s Degree preferred) in a related field, (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
  • Manufacturing experience a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience with D.O.E. a plus
  • Experience with APQP process and associated quality tools (PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, SPC, MSA, etc.) a plus
  • Working knowledge of drawing reading/interpretation, including GD&T
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Word & Excel. 2D and 3D CAD experience (AutoCAD and SolidWorks preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Consistently exhibit appropriate attendance habits, working the hours necessary to perform the job.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to stand continuously for 8 – 12 hours.
  • Ability to twist, bend and lift repetitively.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally

Starting Hourly Rate - $16.00

Job Summary: Responsible to carry out all quality control activities within the Brake Shoe Fabrication (Semac) department including inspection, examination, testing, and sorting. Responsible to ensure that product and incoming material are free from visual defects, and are in compliance with all dimensional requirements, customer specifications and workmanship standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Read and understand all procedures and work instructions necessary for properly carrying out the requirements of this position.
  • Perform first piece, in-process, and final audit inspection of product from all stages of manufacture or processing within the Semac department.
  • Compare material with part prints, engineering standards, and reference samples (or photos) to ensure all product is complete and correct to specification.
  • Fill out all required check sheets and inspection records.
  • Properly identify (tag) and segregate material found to be nonconforming.
  • Report findings to QA Supervisor and to Semac Dept. Manager/Supervisor
  • Assist in employee training.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide troubleshooting assistance to manufacturing and engineering.
  • Provide support for PPAP, process capability, and gage studies
  • Keep assigned work area and equipment clean and orderly
  • Follow all documented safety procedures and postings
  • Provide temporary QA support to other manufacturing departments or shifts as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year work related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to read and understand part prints and engineering specifications.
  • Basic math skills; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to work with both metric and standard measuring systems.
  • Familiar with the use and proper care of both precision and non-precision measuring tools.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, take direction from supervisor(s) and also work with minimal or no supervision when required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to stand continuously for 8 – 12 hours.

  • Ability to lift up to 12 pounds repetitively.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Good eye/hand coordination and good motor skills.
  • Good close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception
